English Language Learner Program

The SCVUHS English Language Learner Program provides students with instruction in English Language Development (ELD) per Arizona state law. Students study reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. The district uses the AZELLA testing instrument to determine in which ELL classes it places a student.

The district will notify parents of the district's performance in providing services and meeting the goals established by the state.
